here’s a little blurb about me!
Susie brings nearly 15 years of portrait and food photography experience to the table. Her first gig started in the spring of 2008 when Sushi Kaiten in Longmont, Colorado reached out to asking if she could help with updating their menu.
Initially reluctant, she took on the challenge and the rest is history. She dived deeper into the world of food.
From then on, she balanced college life with freelance opportunities, working as a reporter for the Colorado Daily covering the Rage Against the Machine protesting the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado to capturing portraits for friends and family
In 2015 she became a reporter for the SAIS Observer in Nanjing, China covering student life, current events and travel segments for Johns Hopkins – Nanjing center.
Be it restaurant dishes, senior high school or professional head shots for your next audition or linkedin profile, Susie has a knack to put you at ease while the lens is facing you.
When not clicking away, Susie enjoys spending time with her dog, Connor, rock climbing, rowing and an array of ‘grandma hobbies’ (Baking, Cooking, Sewing,). You will likely find her thrifting around town, sipping some coffee or a tiki drink from time to time.
